Ensuring no individual or family in the Cowichan Valley goes hungry, either physically, spiritually or emotionally, due to food insecurity.
Choice Hamper Shopping: Hamper distribution is during the week from Monday to Friday, between 9:50 AM to 12:30 PM. Special Saturday pickup of pre-order hampers is available for families who are unable to come during regular hamper hours. Call 250-746-1566 for more information, to register and to schedule a pickup time for a hamper, as delivery is unavailable at this time. No income qualification is necessary - just bring a piece of government ID for each member in the family on your first visit.
Dining Room: Come meet others and share food such as coffee with pastries, and lunch Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:15 PM and on Saturday from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. All ages are welcome to join, with meals available for takeout as well.
Sunday Sandwiches: Provides sandwich lunches to those in need of a meal between 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM each Sunday and on statutory holidays under a large tent behind the Cowichan Valley Basket Society building (5810 Garden Street, Duncan).
