LaFF Mornings: this is a drop-in program held at the Play Space at Aggie Hall from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM for children aged 0–6 and their caregivers, including parents, grandparents, relatives, and other guardians. The program offers an opportunity to connect with other families and LaFF facilitators, build community, engage in play-based activities, and access LaFF’s free clothing exchange and food pantry. A suggested minimum donation of $4.00 per person or one LaFF Pass token is appreciated (cash or e-transfer to donations@familyandfriends.ca).
LaFF Afternoon: a drop-in program for caregivers and their infants up to one year of age (or pre-walking). The program offers an opportunity to build community and connection while accessing LaFF’s free clothing exchange and food pantry. Sessions take place inside Aggie Hall on Wednesdays from 12:15 PM to 1:45 PM. Please note that older siblings are asked not to attend this program at this time. A suggested minimum donation of $4.00 per person or one LaFF Pass token is appreciated (cash or e-transfer to donations@familyandfriends.ca).
LaFF’s SEWcial: program offers a welcoming space for adults (18+) to learn, create, and connect with the community. Participants can bring their own sewing machines, supplies, or other creative projects such as mending, knitting, or crafting. Individuals are also welcome to drop in to socialize or lend a hand with a LaFF project. Sessions run Wednesdays from September 10 to December 3, 6:00–8:00 PM at Aggie Hall. No registration is required. A suggested minimum donation of $4.00 per person or one LaFF Pass token is appreciated (cash or e-transfer to donations@familyandfriends.ca).
Food Pantry/Clothing Exchange Access ONLY: provides free food pantry and daily snacks for participants during programming. The food pantry and clothing exchange will be accessible outside the side kitchen door for you to visit at Aggie Hall between 9:30 AM and 12:00 PM.
Becoming a LaFF member requires payment of membership dues in the amount of $4. This fee confers membership for a five-year (5) term, renewable at any time. Membership is open to any individual 14 years of age or older from the public and does not limit non-members from utilizing all LaFF programming resources.
