Healthy Families Program - Ts’ewulhtun Health Centre
Addictions / Substance Use, Family / Parenting, Food, Indigenous Services, Pregnancy Care, and Public Health
Provided by Cowichan Tribes
- Infant and Child Health and Development: Provides immunizations, vision screening, speech and language support, and nutrition support.
- Maternal Wellness and Women's Health: Provides clinical services including pregnancy tests, PAP screening, pre-and post-natal support, breastfeeding support, and pre-term birth study.
- Community Programs: Includes water monitoring, liaison with doctors, hospitals, and other health care providers, harm reduction and overdose prevention (Naloxone), outreach and support via text/call to vulnerable and under-housed populations, and a family cooking program.
- Youth and Adult Wellness Programs: Provides communicable disease control, testing for STI, HIV, Hepatitis, TB, and immunizations for flu and COVID-19.
