Eligibility
- Must be a Canadian citizen, or have permanent resident status
- Must be a resident of British Columbia
- Must be a Community Health Services client in order to attend Adult Day Programs
- Must live at home and would benefit from structured day program support
- Is medically stable and able to participate safely in a group setting without consistent one-to-one support.
- Eligibility depends on health conditions, functional needs, ability to participate safely in a group setting, caregiver needs, existing supports, and local program availability.
Access starts through the Community Access Centres using a central intake and assessment process. During this process, a clinician will assess eligibility, clinical need, and function to determine if Adult Day Programs are appropriate. Services vary by location.
