- Single Session Walk-In Service (SSWIS) provides timely drop-in, walk-in, and phone-in support for in-the-moment Mental and Substance Use related issues that are non-crisis related
- Screening and assessment
- Service navigation and referral
- Connection to mental health and substance use services, including counselling, outreach teams, treatment and recovery.
- Available for individuals aged 19+ years old who are living in the Comox Valley, including Courtenay, Comox, Cumberland, Denman and Hornby Islands
- Self-refer by walking-in or calling to schedule an appointment with the nursing team at 250-331-8524
- Referrals are accepted from individuals, community agencies, clinicians and other Island Health programs.
- Drop-in groups are open to the public - call reception for the current schedule at 250-331-8524.
