Offers employment and training services to assist Indigenous clients who are Status, Non-Status, Métis or Inuit.
The team’s goal is to help and support in overcoming barriers to employment and provide services that will support candidates in gaining employment or entering into training or an educational program to gain and/or enhance skills and qualifications.

Staff are always available to assist clients with job searches or resumes and can offer the following services for clients:
  • Employment counselling: resume/cover letter building, job search, education and career planning.
  • Individual seat purchase: for courses from one day to one year. Support includes tuition, books, and living allowance (dependent on situation).
  • Transportation assistance: help to travel to confirmed employment/interviews, training and programming.
  • Work gear/clothing: based on the type of employment secured, clients are provided with the work gear required.
  • Essential skills development: assess skill levels in chosen occupation.
  • Skill building certificates: help with accessing required training and certifications for occupational upgrading.
  • Academic program support: financial support is offered for academic programs. The amount received is evaluated on an individual basis.
  • Summer student career program: the summer student program (subject to availability) is offered between May – August and supports high school and post-secondary students aged 15+ who are looking for summer employment or who wish to gain work experience prior to graduating.
  • Job development: working with industry partners to create work practicums and employment opportunities.
