Youth involved with the Youth Worker may be:
- Living on or involved in street activities
- Experiencing parent-teen conflict
- Using drugs and alcohol
- Experiencing a crisis that may lead to high-risk behaviours or situations
- Have dropped out or been expelled from school
- Have run away from home or caregivers
- Involved in violent peer interactions (bullying)
Referrals are accepted from youth themselves, family, friends, teachers, and other service providers.
