- Laboratory services
- Adult Mental Health & Addiction Services: Includes assessments, screening, short-term follow up and referrals to community resources. Services are available by appointment. Contact Intake in Campbell River to access. Youth & Family Substance Use: For youth under 19 and their families, the Youth and Family Substance Use Services program provides support for dealing with issues related to drug and alcohol use. Services are available by appointment. Contact Intake in Campbell River to access.
- Child Health Clinics: Includes Infant immunization and assessment, family coaching, support groups, prenatal teaching, and school immunizations provided by a Public Health Nurse. The clinics are open Wednesday to Friday with variable hours.
- Home Care Nursing: Provided by registered nurses in the home. This includes wound care, help with medications, teaching, palliative care as well as assessment and referral to other services. We accept referrals from individuals, family members or health professionals.
- Home Support: Provides Home Support for eligible Home and Community Care clients. Contact Community Health Services to access.
- Medical Imaging: X-ray appointments require a referral and must be pre-booked by calling the health centre.
- Physiotherapist: An independent registered physiotherapist provides assessments and treatments. Individuals can self-refer or be referred by a health professional.
- Urgent Care Centre: Treats medical health issues due to injury or illness. There is no overnight admittance; a transfer to a larger centre will be arranged if needed. Also does some booked procedures such as casts, IVs and changing dressing.
Gold River Health Centre Hours of Operation:
- Urgent Care Centre: 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week - year round
- Medical Centre: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM by appointment only
- Child Health Clinic: Wednesday to Friday with variable hours
- Home Care Nursing: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Youth & Family Substance Use Services program: Every other Wednesday from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM by appointment only
- Adult Mental Health and Addiction Services: Every other Wednesday from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM by appointment only
