Public Health Unit - Margaret Moss - Duncan

Provides a range of services to promote health and wellness in the Duncan area.
The Margaret Moss Health Unit provides families with infants, toddlers, and young children support and resources on topics such as growth and development; post-partum depression; nutrition and recommended foods; support for parents; and immunizations.

The Public Health Outreach Team (Street Nursing) operates out of the Public Health Unit at Margaret Moss in Duncan providing the following services to those in need out in the community:
  • STI Testing and Treatment
  • Immunizations
  • Mobile COVID Testing and Assessment
  • Birth Control
  • Pregnancy Testing, Morning After Pill (Plan b), pregnancy referrals and IUD referrals
  • Connecting with community services for immediate needs
  • Access to limited basic need items (socks, underwear, snacks, drinks)
  • Advocacy and Referrals
  • Harm Reduction Supplies
  • Basic Wound Care
  • Off Shelf Medications (Tylenol, Advil, Vit C, Multivitamins)
  • Tuberculosis (TB) skin test and/or Chest X-Ray Requisition

Hours of Operation are Monday - Friday from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (closed for lunch from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM).
